How to plan and request your Nepal trip

Updated: 25 October 2026

1. Share your travel plans

Choose a Nepal itinerary and send an enquiry, or use Customize your trip if you want help choosing. Include your preferred dates, number of travelers, walking experience and the amount of time you have. Mention a fixed international departure so the route can allow appropriate transport buffers.

2. Review the proposed route

Read the daily stages as well as the total duration. Check where the trip starts and finishes, the highest visit and overnight elevations, the transport arrangements and any optional activities. Ask about a slower pace, extra acclimatization or alternatives if weather changes the plan.

3. Check the written quotation

Make sure the quotation identifies its currency, number of travelers, validity period and the services included. Review hotel or lodge arrangements, meals, permits, guides, transport, equipment and personal expenses. Ask for clarification if anything is unclear; services are not included simply because they appear in a destination description.

4. Read the booking and cancellation conditions

Your written proposal should identify the payment schedule, cancellation and amendment conditions, and what happens if transport or an activity is disrupted. Keep a copy of those conditions with your itinerary. Booking information and changes and cancellations explain the questions to resolve before making a commitment.

5. Submit your request and keep the reference

A successful website enquiry or reservation request displays a reference after it has been stored. Keep it for follow-up. A request, quote acceptance or payment receipt does not by itself mean that every arrangement is confirmed; use the company’s written booking confirmation for the final status.

For an advertised fixed departure, availability is checked when the request is submitted. If your preferred date is not listed, request a personal quotation rather than selecting a different date.

6. Prepare for departure

Check your passport, visa eligibility and the permits required for your specific route. Review the packing guide, insurance scope and travel buffers. Share passport or insurance documents only through the protected method specified for your booking; do not put passport numbers, payment-card details or sensitive medical records in the general enquiry form.
